I saw this chance to do what i want to do. I saw it but i couldnt grab it. To be an intern at a prestigious communications company but i am held back with three reasons. And though the phrase goes “hendak seribu daya, tak hendak seribu dalih” ( which roughly translates to “if you want it, there will be a hundred efforts, but if you dont there will be a hundred excuses”), these three reasons are huge factors to consider.
A) if i take it my pay would be about only eight hundred bucks, and boy, that aint enough to pay bills, support the family. But i can always pick up a part time job, but still it wouldnt be enough.
B) i am not equip with the skills needed. Though i am familiar with what is required, familiarity does not breed success.
C) in my current situation, to pursue what i want will not help me or my family.
Damn, choices, choices.
