a few days ago i told my mother that once when i reach my $5000-$6000 paycheck each month, i was planning on moving out to a serviced appartment because all i had to do was pay them $1000++ per month and i could get a nice studio apartment where i could cook whatever i want, throw my clothes whereever i want on the floor, i didnt have to do housework, i would have someone cleaning up after me on a daily basis, someone to do my laundry and breakfast can be easily provided. Plus if i add slightly more money, i could get a massage/spa session per month for some rest and relax. My mother immediately exclaimed that if i just gave her that $1000++, she would do all that for me. I told her that if i paid others $1000++ i wouldnt have to hear any nagging at all, but if i paid her, nagging comes into the package!
A few minutes earlier, i received an sms from my mom (yes, my mother has finally learned how to sms). This was how it went.
Mom: Adek (means younger sister in malay), i have helped wash your laundry and hang your clothes. But your room, why so messy? Anyway, I heard someone say that if her laundry is done she would pay that person $1000++…
ME: HAHAHAHAHHA! True, but i still hear you nag, so i discount the price, i just treat you to eat only…
Mom: HEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHE! scammer!
of course the above conversation was in malay, so its less funnier in english…..
