see, the Internet is such a wonderful thing.
everyday it evolves into something new.. you have your various forms of websites bearing information as gifts, you have the places you go to to watch movies, download songs, to get your daily fix to beating your meat, to get information and pictures on your favourite actors, your favourite search engines to cyberstalk your ex-es, networking sites, blog journals, lazy people’s means of blogging (yes i’m referring to picture posts blogging), to see about different countries.. and now my most favourite thing has arrived as well… Groupon.
yeah i know, i must have jumped late on the bandwagon, but i’m really addicted now to groupon, takemetoasia,
deal.com and so on.. i mean everyday i receive emails regarding cheap deals on everything. but my most favourite part is when i first get the email, and i start scanning for the travel deals. OHMEOHMY! so cheap cheap lah the deals, a few times i was just tempted to click and buy, but then i had to stop myself because my <3 cant take leave so easily.. but so tempted, yo!
for example there’s this one deal that offers a 2 night stay for two at Phuket Serenity Suite for only $288! damn cheap, no? and the place looks extremely luscious and pretty and white sand beaches and extravagant and i know luscious wasnt the word to say there i meant to say luxurious, and i tell you i am really digging the place just by looking at pictures. and i almost bought a 3d2n sstay at one of penang’s resort for $75.. and i would have gone too, if not for the fact that i do not have anyone to go with. =(
and have any of you checked our four seasons langkawi hotel? and the packages they offer? TO DIE FOR! seriously.
and if you have the time go check out St Regis Bora Bora. PARADISE!
so here are the places on my list that i intend to cover, and its arrange in no particular order.
1) Bali – a must, i mean come on, almost everyone’s been there
2) Phuket – well, most people say that it’s not a place for girls to go,lots of hookers(okay, i get it, but i’m not going there for hookers arent i?), thrashy place with lots of Australians(so what? i dont get it) but i say, let me come and see it for myself!
3) Bangkok – shopping!
4) Redang
5) Pangkor Island
6) Tempat Senang – It’s in batam if you dont know, and i’m just planning to go there for the treetop rooms and spa!
7) Langkawi -Four seasons langkawi! google it and check it out!
8) Boracay! – white sugary sandy beaches, clear blue skies!
9) Cebu! – beach, beach beach!
10) Maldives – it’s self explainatory. it’s maldives.
11) Bora Bora – French polynesia, St regis bora bora, i’m in love really..
12) Hawaii – yes hawaii! ever since forgetting sarah marshall and watching my wife and kids, i want to go to hawaii!!!
13) Bahamas – need i say more?
14) las vegas, la, ny – it’s big towns for a small town girl! party like a rockstar!
15) monaco – i dunno what’s in monaco, all i can think off is casinos and racing cars but it has a nice ring to it on my tongue and i didnt wanna end at 14, it looked really odd, so monaco it is!
and the list, i foresee will grow longer and longer… so many places to cover so little money and time!
just waiting for the day where i’ll tell <3, “baby, pack your bags, tmrw we’re going Bora Bora on our private plane!” (wishful thinking much? heh, then again dreams can be reality..)
oh! and at least now you know if you’re out of ideas to get me gifts.. just get me travel vouchers!
